Benchmarks

In addition to individual surveys, tailor-made for specific clients, ICMA runs a regular series of benchmarking surveys.

These surveys offer various industry groups the opportunity to combine a highly cost effective study of their customers’ and/or employees’ views with an understanding of how their company performance compares with that of their competitors.

Participants agree to a core questionnaire and receive their own results placed in context with those of their competitors.

  • Employee satisfaction: distributed to employees by mail or online. Responses returned directly to ICMA. 
  • Customer satisfaction: each participant provides a database of their customers to contact. ICMA conducts interviews typically by telephone although online and paper surveys may also be used.
